We leave for Sydney soon. Been diving into The Design Files to get reacquainted with what’s going on. Lucy Feagins does such a nice job.

Ray Kappe’s Los Angeles home is covered in Dwell this month. Split level. Timber, concrete and white. Warm and modern. It’s perfect.
Huset, one of my favorite stores on Abbot Kinney, stock these simple, bold cup and saucer combos by Anna Kravitz. On my wish list.
I just covered three great food blogs over on Purple Clover – BroadAppetite, My Blue and White Kitchen and Manger. So looking forward to getting into the kitchen with some new inspiration. The salmon salad above is from Sini, the Finnish grad student behind My Blue and White Kitchen.
Three Weavers, my favorite local beer makers have a Kickstarter campaign that needs your support. I came across them at a Tastemade event a few months ago and they make truly delicious beer … promise. Plus I like they’re logo design.
There’s something perfect about raspberries and full-cream milk. (Is it my imagination or are all things fat-free fading from the shelves right now?) There is nothing more delicious than creamy milk, granola and berries for breakfast. And still loving the ceramics we nabbed at IKEA. They are off-white – yes, we broke our all-white rule! They remind me of Heath Ceramics – which we will own one day. One day.
