Did you read the AIG story in the New York Times this morning? AIG is granting bonuses to its employees. They are going to pay out almost $165 million. Shit. What the hell is that about? Why aren’t those bonuses linked to performance?
Not quite sure how to link that back to design so I will stop there. Although I can hear a my friend (a conservative) harping on about money needing to get back out there and these people will spend – blah blah blah. They should not be rewarded for fucking up.
